Regular online communications and 1 to 1 .meetings depending on necessity are established between WP3, WP1 and Serbian partners

Except for postponed field work in Serbia for model parametrization (LAI and morphology), important data collections in the field have been accomplished by WP2 and WP4.

However, academic visits by Serbian PhDs to Freiburg are postponed and all related activities still uncertain. Also, stakeholder workshops had to be postponed and depend on contact limitations.

WP2, WP3 and WP4 are moving towards a critical phase from data collection and preparation to model application.

WP5 will start soon the main data collection with surveys and expert interviews.

Despite being able to manage well the distance with remote work and meetings, this can still not replace personal communication and meetings. Hopefully next project meeting? Vaccination progress in Germany steadily increasing and may allow the next meeting to be personal.
