The final project conference was held on the 14th of May 2024 at the Faculty of Forestry's training facility on Mountain Goc in front of broader forestry-related stakeholders.

It started with opening remarks by Dr. Branko Stajić, Dr. Marc Hanewinkel, and Dr. Nenad Petrović.

The event included the presentation of all project working packages. Working Package 1 - coordination, project management, data gathering and preprocessing, stakeholder interaction, and project implementation. Working Package 2 - development of modern digital site mapping, emphasizing vegetation analysis and tree spe-cies suitability. Working Package 3 - creation of a climate-sensitive growth simulation model with an economic component for pedunculate oak and beech in Serbia, form-ing the basis for forest management decision-making under climate change. Working Package 4 - production of dynamic tree species distribution and productivity maps in the context of climate change. Finally, Working Package 5 - addresses climate change governance and sustainable development in Serbia.

The conference also featured a common discussion covering topics such as forest policy and management responses to climate change, the practical implementation of project results in forestry, and proposals for future project topics selected by forestry practitioners for potential extension activities.
